My interest in clay started years ago in a pot throwing class in which I found I could not personally master the techniques, and I finally gave up. I tried again three years ago, but realized I spent more time adding small details and forms to my pots. So…why not try sculpture?
As a resident of Rhode Island, I am inspired by sea life and the ocean. As a lifelong lover of animals, and particularly of horses, and polo, I am challenging myself to create realistic sculptures of equestrian and sea themed ceramics.
