I am a ceramic artist focused primarily on wheel throwing, drawn to the balance between function and form. I create pieces meant to be used, especially cookware, because I value the connection between objects and everyday moments.
Sharing a meal is one of the moments that brings people together, marks time, and turns nourishment into connection. The vessels we use become part of that experience, held, passed, and remembered. I’m interested in how a handmade object can quietly shape those moments, adding intention and presence to something both ordinary and essential.
I find inspiration in natural colors, ecosystems, and the wildlife. As well as in the process of growing, harvesting, and preparing food. My work reflects this cycle—earth to vessel to table—honoring both utility and beauty. Each piece is an exploration of how form can serve function while still carrying the presence of the landscape, nature, and natural ecosystem.
