I am a potter born and raised in New York. As a wheel thrower, I make various forms inspired by utility and function. The process of experimentation is what keeps my work ever-changing, jumping between style and era.
I had worked in many different mediums of art throughout my life before finding a sense of home in ceramics practice. My love for other mediums, like paint and ink, can be found in my pottery. I’ve been a member of different ceramic studios across the country and learned new techniques from my mentors and peers. This has helped me hone my craft. I am now settled in North Kingstown, RI where my family lives, and I work as an elementary school teacher.
