Born and raised on a South Texas farm, Corinne has spent her career as an educational leader and arts-based narrative researcher with a focus on care, equity, and experiential learning. When she was a professor at Rhode Island College, she joined Craig Bachman’s ceramic learning community and got hooked on clay. She has recently left higher education to become an independent consultant and continues to make time for pottery. Corinne especially likes experimenting with a variety of clays and techniques including throwing on the wheel, hand building and slabwork.
